Texas Facts

How many other states have a 9 billion dollar surplus?  Texas recognized a long time ago we needed to diversify and not just depend on oil.  And still no Income Tax.....?? Look for our Governor Rick Perry to make a run at the WH in 2012 or 2016.  Maybe a ticket called Perry/Palin.  Earlier this year he asked Congress and the WH for troops to help further secure our border and was either ignored or turned down...so, he sent our national guard and the elite Texas Rangers there to help out....and he had put money aside in the budget to cover these expenses. Plus, he got tort reform passed...not doctors are flocking here by the hundreds.
