Global Warming Proof Positive and Opinions

With the environmental summit at Copenhagen producing “Climategate”, it has become tremendously unclear what is really going on with global warming. So how do we figure out what science actually tells us about global warming? The answer is simple: ask the scientists.

Over at Forbes you can check out the full results of the polling done by the Statistical Assessment Service of 500 top scientists. 97 percent of scientists agree that “global average temperatures have increased”, but only 52 percent attribute the rise in the past century to human activity. On the other hand, 84 percent believe that, right now, “human-induced greenhouse warming” is occurring. The results certainly aren't as straightforward as one would like.
