Your Answer To Happiness Could Be Here????

Here’s a little a-ha moment I had recently: 

I was on a coaching call with Sarah, one of my Uplevel 
Your Business students. We had just laid out some great 
strategies for her 2010 plan when her voice broke. 

She said, “I want to take the last five minutes of this 
call to say Thank You for ‘Uplevel Your Business.’”

Then she started crying. 

She said, “This has changed my life. It might not sound 
like it – but I’m really happy now!” 

She told me about the doors that have opened for her 
business, and about how excited she feels every morning 
when she wakes up. 

At first, I was silent. 

“Wait a minute.” I thought. “Something’s wrong here. I’m 
the one who’s supposed to be grateful. I mean, I LOVE doing 
this. And SHE’S the one who paid ME, right?” 

But then I had one of those “couldahaddaV8” moments. 

Duh! This IS the new model of business! This is EXACTLY what 
I teach people! 

The old model is “Work hard and get people to buy your stuff.” 
The new model is Authenticity, Service, and Wealth. 

When you learn to create your business in the new model, then 
people thank you for being successful. They thank you for who 
you are and what you’ve created. (You get to thank them too!) 

Most people I teach are like Sarah. They love what they do. 
They provide amazing services. But they don’t know how to run 
their business, and they think something must be wrong with them. 

Nothing’s wrong with them! It’s just that no one has ever taught 
them what to do! 

Well, let’s put an end to that, okay? Let’s make 2010 your best 
year yet.
