A Dallas BBQ Favorite Celebrates 100 Years

This Saturday, February 13, Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse (2202 Inwood Road) will be celebrating 100 years since they first opened their original location off Inwood Road. All nine locations will roll back menu prices for the day and also donate 100 percent of proceeds from their sandwich special sales to The First Tee of Dallas, an organization that helps children enhance their lives through golf. The Inwood location will start off the day at 11 a.m. with live music and appearances from Mayor Tom Leppert and the Bryan family. Mayor Leppert is no Willard Scott when it comes to celebrating 100-year-old birthdays, but we guess he’ll do.
