Last week, a North Carolina mother listed a Nintendo Entertainment System along with five games on eBay and watched in astonishment as the bids rose to more than $13,000. Before you wipe off your old NES and try hocking it for $15K on Craigslist, understand that the bidders didn’t care about the game system so much as one of the games that came with it. The valuable game, Stadium Events, is an obscure and highly sought-after collectors’ item that can fetch thousands of dollars, especially when to comes with the original box.
