Kara DioGuardi Fired From American Idol

American Idol has had quite the week.  First the announcement that Ellen is leaving the show after her first season as a judge for the popular reality talent show, then the news that J. Lo may be joining, and now this piece of juicy gossip: Kara DioGuardi has been canned.

As of this morning, FOX would not comment on TMZ's report of DioGuardi's departure.

American Idol will revert to it's previous three judge format in the new season, with the three judges speculated to be Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.  Sounds like a wacky bunch to me!
