Warning.....Danger!!

Hope this pic convinces people we have huge rattlesnakes in Tx...this one is from the Texas Hill Country. So, when you are out walking/hiking/camping, please be aware.

A few years ago a teacher stopped her car just West of San Marcos and climbed over a fence to look at some butterflies....she wandered a few hundred yards from her car on highway.  An initial search turned up nothing; a second search found her body with rattlesnake bite marks on her ankle. This is no way to die!!  Yes the hill country is beautiful, but, it can also be deadly when you lest expect it.

    The largest documented rattlesnake killed in Texas was 92 inches.
