Cooking and Thawing Turkey

Yes, I know many folks, today, think Organic is the only way to go.  Or free range.  Or wild turkeys, if you have a hunter in the family.  Some of the best tasting turkey I have eaten was wild turkey taken off a deer lease in South Texas.  

Personally turkeys are all tasty and affordable in most areas.  I have seen them on sales in the DFW area for as low as $0.37/lb.

Here are instructions for brining a turkey, regardless of what 'kind' it is:

Brining main benefit is it will make any turkey more tender and more moist.
