Congress trying to decide best route for SS in the future. Bush tried to do something, yet the Dems got it defeated because of lies they told the retired. 3 Counties in Texas opted out of SS back in 1979 and they have been nothing but 100% successful.
Current retirees are now receiving 2-4 times what they would have under the antiquated system we are now under. And they are solvent...why not implement a proven system? Oh, forget, then government would have nothing to do with it...can't have that...can we??
