DALLAS (WBAP 24/7 News) - The first two locations for the popular In-N-Out Burger will be in Frisco and Allen and they both should be open by May.
The California-based chain says at least three more are under construction and should open by late this summer. The burger hotspot is known for its dedicated fans and off-the-menu items. The company hopes to have eight locations open by the end of 2011, according to Carl Van Fleet, vice president of planning and development.
Depending upon how many total restaurants the company opens in DFW, there will be 300 jobs available. Each restaurants will hire 50 to 60 employees. The starting wage is $10 an hour.
Besides Allen and Frisco, In-N-Out will also have two locations in Dallas and one in Fort Worth.
A new distribution center - the firm's only center outside of California that makes the meat patties - will open by the end of next month on Adler Drive in Dallas.
