Global Warming

Those of you who believe that global warming is destroying the earth, I pose this question: What will you give up to slow GW?  Your car; your home; mowing or having your yard mowed weekly; having more children, etc? Would you go back to living with less, i.e., running water, electricity?? would you grow your own food? Bottom line: What 3 things would you give up to save the earth?  Answer only if you believe the world will end because of people, not,  when God wants it to end.  I believe God will never allow his creation, the earth, to end until he wants it to end! Since it will be destroyed by fire and brimstone, maybe HE will have the earth sucked into the sun or vice versa; or maybe all the increase volcanic actively going on on land and beneath he oceans of the world will create the end.  Have you thought the oceans may be heating because of the increased volcanic activity.  I am not worried about the polar ice cap melting and flooding the world.....why?  Because God makes it clear that after the last flood there would never be another....so the melting of any frozen part(s) of the world have no validity or concern for me.  I find it interesting that so many believe what Government and Scientists say vs what God says.  To me, this is pure stupidity or foolishness.

  1. I can give you more than 3 things:

    1) I have no car
    2) I do not own a home. I rent an apartment.
    3) I don't have a yard to mow.
    4) I don't have any children at all, much less more. I do have two cats. Do they count?
    5) I don't grow my own food but only buy from the local farmers market
    6) I dry my clothes on the line.
    7) Do not buy any disposable plastic and only used/refurbished durable plastic goods.
    8) Buy clothing from second hand store, as well as other household items.

You may not be worried about the ice caps melting and flooding the world, but the millions of people who depend on the glaciers for clean drinking water are certainly worried.

Global warming is affecting people NOW. Maybe not you or people in the affluent world. It's those in poor countries that will feel the affects first. Take steps to lower your carbon emissions if not because you think the world will end, simply out of compassion for those who lives are affected now by the rising temperatures.

94% of climatologists are convinced that humans are affecting the climate. Even if it's not true, living a simpler life is good for the soul. It can't hurt you to try it, can it?
