Stockyards Event (That's Ft. Worth, Tx)

On the eve of the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (January 14-February 6), Texas Toast will visit the hottest dining spot in the historic Stockyards for Dove Love, a new Feeding Frenzy.
The first of our fabulous multi-course dinner events for 2011 finds celebrity chef Tim Love presenting an intriguing, 6-course menu created just for Texas Toasters.
 
Amuse bouche
Baby beet baked in East Texas hay

First course
Tapas platter of:
Cured and smoked crispy wild salmon
Fluke, black salt, yuzu
Grilled gulf oyster, aged cheese, garden garlic

Second course
Cavatelli, spicy rattlesnake sausage, radicchio

Third course
Winter greens, guanciale, pear, pepita, manchego

Main course
Texas Black Buck, Brussel sprout refresher

Dessert
Budino (an intense Italian pudding - yum!)

Plus: each course includes a special cocktail pairing fashioned just for this menu!

 
We'll hear about the chef's upcoming events, which includes a Spaghetti Western during Super Bowl Weekend with TV food stars Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, Guy Fieri, along with Texas Rangers star Tommy Hunter.
Tickets for this unmatched dining event are $125, which includes all food, drink, tax and gratuity. And $10 of your ticket payment goes to Chef Love's charity, Burgers for Babies, a fund that benefits the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth.
