Victims of Rape and Child Abuse

We talk so much today about assault weapons, yet, we seem to be forgetting all the women that have been or will be raped and children that have been or will be sexually molested and scarred for life.  

My point: We have laws against people that commit these horrible acts, yet, they continue at an alarming rate.  

There are about 100,000 rapes in America each year.  The apprehension rate is about 25%.  So, there remains 75,000 + rapist roaming the streets of America, just looking for their next victim.  And, if you are a woman, you think you shouldn't be armed?????  If you have a family you think you shouldn't the means to protect your family?????

Finally, there are about 80,000 cases of reported sexual child abuse each year ..... 

Where should our real priorities be in terms of law enforcement??? I submit, they should be focused on apprehending these rapists and child abusers as well as training and arming women and families with the means to lethally protect themselves and their families for these abhorrent criminals and crimes they commit, daily, against the innocent and innocence within America.  

OH, when was the last time Obama had women and children at a press conference that had been raped or children that had been molested or women and children that have written letters asking him to do something about these horrible crimes?
