ADD (America's Debt and Deficit)

Does anyone really care if we are passing all this friggin debt on to our children and their children....to me this attitude is arcane at best?

What is needed is fiscally responsible government at both Federal and State levels. No budget ...should be passed unless it's balanced .... until that is done, no amount of taxes on individuals or companies will resolve or reduce the debt or the deficit.

Our problems are spending, not the amount of revenue collected. Until all government spending is under control, nothing else will work. If we gave government an extra 25 Trillion Dollars, I guarantee, in a few years they would ask for more.

It's time all governments operate on less, not more than they collect....! Until that happens, I foresee the day when everyone could be paying 50-75% of their gross earnings into the bottomless pits of irresponsible and shameless spending.

In Government's perfect world, we all would work and they would take 100% of what we earn. Then they would put all of us on a budget for all the things we now choose to buy based on our earnings and hard work. We would get housing, medical care, food, etc. based on what they 'deemed' our needs to be. We all would be turned from individuals into one big herd of cattle living in the same pasture.
